About
Us
Williams Cabinetry was established in North Carolina and
primarily focused on custom cabinets and boat interiors. In 1989, Williams
Cabinetry was moved to beautiful coastal Maine. With the move, a line of
quality wood framed traditional and Victorian styles mirrors was developed. The
business has grown and now produces a wide variety wall accessories. Even with
this growth, owners, Hugh and Avis Williams are still very actively involved in
the design and manufacturing process. Although modern woodworking equipment
makes it possible to fill large orders, each item is still carefully finished
and inspected before it is approved for shipping.
Williams Cabinetry
wall accessories are constructed primarily of furniture grade poplar, and
cherry, although a few items use MDF (medium density fiberboard). All moldings
are made in our woodworking shop. Most styles of poplar frames can be stained
or painted. Cherry is generally unstained with a natural look. MDF must be
painted. Painted finished are either "crackle" or solid satin paint. All frames
are enhanced by quality ¼" mirror with a wide bevel. Hardware for
hanging is included with each item.
Williams Cabinetry mirrors,
shelves, and chalkboards are sold in furniture, home accessory, gift, and bed
and bath stores. Featured items have also been available in several major
catalogs. Unique styling, quality materials, and skilled local woodworkers
insure a quality product that will last for generations.
